The first stone: 1932 Marmon V16 Engine

ScreenShot001

Maybe you already own a Marmon V16 automobile and you need a spare engine or, on the other hand, if you are thinking to build the hot-rod of your dreams, then this engine can be the first stone to put down for your project.

ScreenShot002This 8.0L engine (#16-663) is said to come from Swigart Museum (Huntingdon, PA) where it was stored since the fifties; it has no crack in the block but one valve cover is damaged. It comes with no carburetors, no distributor and one exhaust manifold missing. Some work to do and much money to spend, but this is a rare occasion to put your hands on this locomotive-like unit. Find it for sale at $27,500 here in Lynchburg, VA.
