Race dress: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale

Lately it has been difficult to see an SS prepared for historic races, mainly because the value of these cars has quadrupled in the last four years.

Indeed the seller says that this car was converted to race specification in 2005 (in Italy, of course), a time when many people could afford a car like this and to take the liberty to strip it just to have fun around a track.

The car itself looks very solid (the seller says that also the undercarriage is dry and straight) and basically it looks to need nothing if you want to use it to join hystoric races: if you want to bring it back to road specifications there is some money to spend on it but it shouldn’t be a crazy idea. Find it for sale at £75,000 (today $114,000) here in Mereworth, UK.
