What’s the truth? 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

Too good to be true, that’s the first thing you think at when you see this ad.

This car was featured in early 2013 on eBay: the last time we checked it the bids reached $55K the day before the auction end, so we don’t know how and if this car has been sold back then. Two are the things we are sure of: the photos are the same and the description as well.

It is actually a beautiful Giulietta Spider which is said to be a 1961 car but actually it has the same fins and taillights of the 750. The are not photos of the interiors but the steering wheel is the same of the one installed on the Giulia, her bigger sister. The seller says that they bought the car yet restored and that it’s a unique opportunity to buy such car at such price: we believe him, always supposing that the car really is for sale at that price. Try to find it for sale at $37,500 here in Austin, TX.
