Ghost in the shell: 1960 Ferrari 250 GTE “body”

Times have changed and now it could be worth even to underline the sale of a bare shell (with some ancillaries) of a 250 GTE which, if complete and restored, is now worth even an half million dollars.

Probably the chassis and engine of this car has been used years ago as a base to built a 250 California or a GTO recreation, but the seller says that interiors are complete, there are all the glasses plus more trims like front grill, lights and bumpers.

So, this could be the starting point for a resto-mod, fantasy project, or just a stash of spares for one of its sister which needs to be helped during a restoration. For sure the financial investment here is not a joke, but you will not find some more opportunity like this in the future. In the meantime, find it for sale at €30,000 (today $41,000) here in Firenze, Italy.
