The ’37 Ford brought a change in the lines of Ford cars: it had softer lines than its predecessor, the Model 48, a V-shaped grill and two beautiful teardrop shaped headlights.
Other than that, this barn find looks very healthy although its black paint has become dull. The front bumper looks missing but the seller says that he has all parts. It also says that the car has new tires (which have the correct vintage look). The interiors look old, very old, and just like we love them.
The seller says that the engine, a proper flathead, is the original equipment of the car; what we don’t know is if this unit is the 136 or the 221 c.i. Basically, after decades of chopping, channeling and slamming, it’s good to see an original car like this one. Find it for sale at $15,500 here in Dickinson, TX
