This 1964 Karmann Ghia was originally painted in Pacific Blue: probably the paint should have been redone so the solution found was to brush it lightly so the primer could emerge and mix with the blue shade. The result is a very particular effect wich reminds the shark skin pattern.
Apart from such odd expedient, the car under the paint looks very good and solid, with no traces of crashes, dings or rust. Moreover, it looks very original in every part. The seller provides a picture of the undercarriage which seems rust free and straight.
The seller says also that everything has been rebuilt, including engine, front end, brakes and transmission. Interiors are very good and original: under a jokingly superficial ratty look there is a proper solid and correct K.G., reasonably priced. Find it for sale at $9,900 here in Los Angeles, CA.
