We don’t like to post such expensive car but in this case we’ll do an exception. This U.S. spec. 1957 300 SL Roadster is said to be a stalled restoration, and that it will be sold as is. For sure, it’s not the usual car you think at when you hear the word “project”.
The seller didn’t write anything about the work performed on this car; we can only suppose that only metal work has been done. In the meantime, there’s no reference about the presence or the conditions of engine, transmission or interior parts. We hope that, at this price point, everything will come with the car to the new owner. Will it be worth such financial effort? Who knows. Find it for sale at €420,000 (today $548,000) here in Milano, Italy.
