Indeed, this is the second specimen ever seen by us of this special, and very rare, Fiat 600: it is in fact a four-door version built by Francis Lombardi coachworks.
At the time it cost about 30% more than the standard version, a cost imposed by the complex processing of the body to allow the adoption of two additional doors which, although small, allowed much more agile access to the rear seats, not only for people but also for loading stuff.
Some time ago we published another one, restored and less expensive than this one: however, it is also true that this looks like a survivor in amazing conditions, apart from the hubcaps in fact the car looks complete, with the original black plate and what we think is the original paint. It actually looks like a real time capsule. Find it for sale at €38,000 (today $46,000) here in Catania, Italy.
