Spotted green: 1967 De Tomaso Vallelunga

A few days ago we said that lately there is a shortage of interesting classic cars (by our standards) for sale: we confirm this, but luckily there is still something around.

Indeed, this car is extremely interesting for two reasons: the first is that it is a Vallelunga, one of the rarest cars produced by De Tomaso in its heyday; to be exact we are talking about about 50 units, the second reason is that, net of some missing details, it looks like a car frozen in time.

The body is made of aluminum and consequently has no corrosion problems: among other things, it seems that its original color is green, much more beautiful than the “common” red, all combined with a sand-colored interior. The engine and carburettors are still in place, as are the rare magnesium wheels. The price, as you can imagine, is important, but still in line with the type of vehicle. Find it for sale at $249,950 here in Los Angeles, CA.
