If you think that there is another Barchetta like this, then we give you an advice: don’t waste your time looking for it because you won’t find another one.
It is in fact an Ermini 1100 Sport that, from what we found around, was designed by Michelotti while the aluminum bodywork was made by Frua coachworks. This car has a troubled history as the chassis seems to be taken from a Moretti, and all the assembly was done by Righini of Florence (very useful has been the “Archivio Vetture Sport” FB page that put together the the history of this car).
The car is clearly in very good condition and is equipped with its original 1100cc twin-cam engine, as well as of the Weber carburetors that seem to be correct. The Borrani wheels complete this very special car, both because of its history and asking price. Find it for sale at €499,000 (today $550,000) here in Roma, Italy.
