Japanese Multipla: 1969 Subaru Sambar 360

This Minivan, in this version in its second generation, was certainly inspired by the Fiat 600 Multipla, from which it takes up the constructive philosophy and size.

The goal of the manufacturer was to create a convenient, compact and economical means of transport and in fact the engine is the two-stroke 356 cc of the Subaru 360 capable of producing 25 hp, enough to make this van move which only weighs 535 kgs cheerfully.

Unfortunately the seller wrote a very brief description (to put it mildly): he practically wrote nothing except that this is a “great vehicle” and that “thee are few things left to do”. Now, we don’t know exactly what these phrases mean, however any work left to do should not be challenging. Find it for sale here in Fairhaven, MA, with bidding at $12,000 and reserve price met.
