This is a car which, honestly, we didn’t know the existence of. Ok we’re not so skilled about british cars (and that’s not a good thing), but we’re quite surprised to have ignored such beautiful car so far.
It has not the legendary allure of some italian sports car of the same period which, to be fair, had a much more “modern” line than this one which seems to come from the late thirties, no less the bodywork of this Daimler, made by Barker Coachworks, is stunning, especially if you’re able to imagine this car when fully restored.
This particular car needs of course a full restoration but the starting point seems very good: it looks not rotten (the body is made in aluminium) although we believe that it could be difficult to drive it as is. On the other side the seller says that it run 6 years ago and no more since, but the most important thing is that the car looks complete, including the old black and white british plate. Find it for sale at 18,000 (today $23,600) here in Limerick, Ireland.
