Again, we’ve found a car which we didn’t know the existence of: it’s a kit car based on the VW Beetle (the platform of many kit car, basically the main platform for almost every kit car ever produced) and it was built by Vopard Industries in Suisun City, CA.
As the period advertising says, Vopard produced three models: the Vokaro like this car in particular which is a two seater, the Vokaro 4 with two more rear seats (and an ugly front bumper) and, last but not least, the Lytning G12P which was intended as a “Berlinetta” two seater.
This particur car looks very good both for the paint and for the interior, so we don’t understand why the seller says it needs a major dust clean up from storage: maybe the ad photos are old. However, we like both the paint shade and the wheels. If you have some more information about these kit cars, please tell us. Find it for sale at $3,000 here in Pleasant Hill, OR.
