First time for sale: 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE

The seller says that this 250 GTE is for sale for the first time since it was delivered new in the USA to Otto Zipper Motors in Hollywood.

Indeed it’s one of the few Ferrari of that period to have a mile-scaled speedometer so that’s coherent with what the seller says. The car has been hodden from the market since then and now it has seen the light again. Unfortunately it’s is not a proper “time capsule”.

Sometimes in the past it had some added features like the black on the hood scoop, the front badge has been removed and so the turn lights, the little gauges on the left side of the dashboard have been replaced, probably during the late seventies-early eighties but apart from these details, the car looks actually as correct as it was when it was delivered new. Find it for sale at $299,000 here in Portage, IN.
