This pretty Italia 2000 (Vignale body #30) is said to have been registered new in Madrid and that it has 88,000 kms from new, which is quite plausible on such car. The most curious thing on this car is the pale blue paint which seems old, probably original, but it’s a shade not mentioned in the factory brochure.

We know well such car and we can pacefully confirm that this car is 99% complete, especially about the unobtanium interior trims. The car lacks of the rear taillights, which are the same of the Lancia Appia Convertibile, and of the front lights which are the same used on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta/Giulia Sprint 101. A quick sight of the engine bay doesn’t give us any suspect about any important lack.

The blue leather interior gives us the proof (almost) that this pale blue could have been a special order color as it’s mated with such interior, making an alegant ton-sur-ton color mating. Nice candidate for a full restoration, this car can be found for sale at €37,500 (today $50,000) here in the same city where it was registered new 53 years ago.

this car is now being restored in England for a Swiss owner
