This Lancia Aurelia is said to be a one-off built by Bertone on a B52 chassis, and exhibited at the 1951 Turin Motor Show.
But the really remarkable thing about this special car (chassis B52. 1074, engine B21.4542) is that it is said to be completely original and to have traveled – brace yourselves – only 2,756 kms (1,712 miles) since new (at the time of find, now has 1,000 more), and never even been restored: is still on its original paint and CEAT whitewall tyres.
In 2020 it was displayed at the Turin Automobile Museum, exhibition “Aurelia 1950-2020, Timeless Myth” and in 2021 at the Turin Automobile Museum, for the exhibition “Michelotti World, 100 years of a limitless designer”. There is very little to add as the car speaks for itself, if we really have to comment on something, it is the absolute beauty of the interior. Find it for sale at €219,000 (today $237,000) here in Torino, Italy.
