Some of you certainly know Luigi Colani, the designer who, despite his very Italian surname, was born in Germany from a Swiss father and a Polish mother.
And surely you know it for its most famous automotive creation, the “Alfa Romeo 1000 Abarth GT Bertone Coupé” (one of the longest names in the history of the automobile), but Colani has always experimented with new shapes on any vehicle, truck and bicycles included.
One of his creations – obviously unknown to us – is this prototype with futuristic lines created in 1989; the prototype is currently equipped with an engine (which engine?) but the glasses that are present in the photos taken thirty years ago are missing, as is the fuel tank. In any case, it does not seem that it still takes much time to complete this project that could allow you to be the king of every youngtimer meeting. Find it for sale at €60,000 (today $66,000) here in Cologno Monzese, Italy.
