The only car producer of Israel was Autocars Co. Ltd. founded in Haifa and, among other models, they’ve built the Sabra Sport both in Coupé and Roadster version.
This particular car, of course a Roadster, is said to heve been brought in the U.S.A. in 1973 and, as long as it has a fiberglass body, doesn’t have rust problems even though no photos of the undercarriage have been provided. On the other side the engine is a 1700 c.c. Ford (england) mated to a ZF transmission: both are reliable and easy to be serviced.
The seller says that this is a matching numbers car, that it has 50,000 miles only and that it runs and shifts well: the overall conditions ofthe car seem more than fair and,at the end of the day, you could drive home a rare a nice roadster without spending a fortune. Fnd it for sale at $24,000 (o.b.o.) here in Glenview, IL.
