Italian connection: 1967 Ika Torino 380 Coupé by Pininfarina

We guess that most of you have never seen this car, and indeed we neither did, at least until a couple of years ago when we spotted one for sale in Argentina.

In 1962, the management of the argentinian Kaise Motors wanted an automobile that would be better suited to their domestic market, one that “combined American ruggedness and European style”.  The choice was to use the AMC Rambler (American and Classic) chassis, whilst the engine was built in Argentina. The body, on the other side, was styled by Pininfarina.

The engine of this particular car is a 233 ci. (3,700 c.c.), inline six with asingle overhead cam, producing 155 b.h.p., not a monster but quite enough to make this car a great cruiser. The car for sale looks in beautiful conditions both inside and outside, and it has a beautful color too. Find it for sale at $35,000 here in Phoenix, AZ.
