The Porsche featured in Doc Hollywood, starring Michael J. Fox, not only was a Speedster but it was also a fake: this car indeed is not a Speedster but it has been found in a Hollywood garage and, last but not least, it’s a real Porsche.
It’s, exactly, a 356 C coupé which has been carried out from a garage where, for sure, it has been parked for many year, otherwise it wouldn’t never been in the present conditions.
Now, the seller says basically nothing about the car; what’s clear that the battery pan must be replaced and that the silver paint is cracked: by the way, it looks like it’s not the first paint; it’s indeed possible to spot a green paint through the cracks. However, this is the scruffy driver of our dreams: the car is basically complete ( the front lid handle is missing), doesn’t seem damaged and the interiors are original and in good shape. The floors have to be verified but with few touches this 356 could easily hit the road again. Find it for sale at $40,000 here in, of course, Los Angeles, CA.
