Moretti was a car builder in the early stage of his history but, after the coachbuilt cars sunset in the late sixties, he just modified some Fiat models until the end of the company in 1989.
One of the cars he used to built was the 127 Coupé like this one, a tenave to build an elegant but cheap coupé: to do this he choose he Fiat 127 platform which was cheap but, unfortunately, quite slow. However, he did his best with this car and indeed we believe that it is quite impossible to do a better job than this.
we have seen other Moretti 17 for sale but this is the only blue one so far: a very elegant combination with the pale blue interior: the seller says that this is oneof the last specimens built which basically needs nothing but to be driven: no speed thrills with this car but at last you’ll have a rare italian coachbuilt car in your garage for the half of the price of a new citycar. Find it for sale at €8,000 (today $9,000) here in Roma, Italy.
