It’s the first time we see this car, and the first time we hear of Sid Ward, the coachbuilder who shaped this beautiful aluminium body.
So, we don’t know Sid Ward but, watching this car, we are sorry that he didn’t keep on building other cars as this man had a good eye and a great sense of proportions. Although we can see some elements borrowed from other cars like the front end of the Marcos Adams GT or the profile of the Siata 208 CS, all these elements are very balanced and perfectly blended.
The seller says that this car was born as a regular 100 BN1 and then rebodied in the mid sixties after having been raced for years, the engine has some racing equipment like the Chevy Bel Air flat top pistons, the custom drilled drum brakes and a giant water cooler. Actually the description of the car is very complete but we suppose thet the owner has much more to tell. Find iit for sale at £40,000 (today $57,000) here in Brisbane, Australia.
