Back in the sixties german car producers often asked to italian designers and coachbuilders to shape their cars: they were actually right as many of these cars came out well like this Glas GT.

Designed by Frua and powered by Glas with a four cylinders engine fed by two carburetors, this car was an elegant GT coupè which unfortunately was quite expensive for its car segment, so few were sold and even less have survived so far.

This particular car (chassis #211006031) has a lot of rust and its restoration will be expensive: on the other side it looks very correct and original; we can’t spot any later additions or some parts which could have been replaced during the last fourty years: the interiors in particular are quite a time capsule. So, not easy to restore but if you’re looking for a car to start with, this is the car. Find it for sale at €9,900 (today $11,000) here in Heilbronn, Germany.
