The Renault 4CV is not much known in the classic car world, especially on the western side of the Atlantic, however we believe that’s a cute little car indeed, not less than many italian alternatives of that period.
Indeed it was quite a smart car: a quite short body, four doors, rear water-cooled engine and a cool design. This particular car is one of the last 4CV produced and it is called “Affaire”. Its engine is the four cyclinder type 1062 which produces 26 hp, basically as much as an Abarth 595.
This car needs everything but it looks basically complete: it seems that one day the owner parked it in a barn and then he completely forget about it: the car has also a stuck engine but at lest the car has still the original, faded, plate. Last but not least, you can bring this car at home for the half of the price of a new iPhone. Find it for sale at €500 (today $550) here in Saint-Léger-le-Petit, France.
