It’s not usual to see a mid fifties tow truck based on a Fiat 1100 chassis but for sure once found, you can be sure that all the eyes along the street will be yours.
Many of these tow trucks were made back then but of course they cannot tow a big weight so they were mostly used by mechanics or, generally, by workshops: indeed this truck has still the shop writing on its sides.
Of course the chassis was not the same of a stock fiat 1100 but it has a chassis made on purpose to be used in “industrial” environments: the correct name of this model was “1100 industriale” (industrial). The seller says that this car is working all around and still has its original plates and papers. Find it for sale at €18,000 (today $24,500) here in Marina di Pietrasanta, Italy.
