Once again, we come across a (probably) unique example and—what a coincidence—this too was built by Stabilimenti Farina on a Fiat 1100B chassis, with aluminum bodywork.
We don’t know the history of this particular car, but we can make a guess: many years ago it was damaged, perhaps in a rear-end collision (or by hitting a pole or something similar), and afterwards it was parked somewhere, likely outdoors, where weather and scavengers took their toll. We cannot know for certain, but it is natural to imagine such a story.
Setting imagination aside for a moment and returning to reality, the only certain fact is that this very special car has had a hard life. The fundamentals are there, including the precious bumpers, the steering wheel, and the instruments, but the rest of the car represents a colossal challenge—even for the most skilled bodyworker, who would need to reconstruct many parts from scratch (always assuming a reference template can be found). Find it for sale at €70,000 (today $82,000) here in Napoli, Italy.
