One of the most frequent problems when restoring a 60-year-old car is finding spare parts, it is true, you can find aftermarket components for sale but they rarely have the quality necessary for a top-level restoration.
Not only that: sometimes the classic car parts produced now are of absolutely poor quality, and, the best part, they are not cheap either. In particular this happens for classic English and Italian cars, and in fact today a restoration with original parts (often called n.o.s. restoration) can take years.
In this case, however, there are three cars that are the same in many respects: the one that is worth more, and certainly the beneficiary of a potential restoration, is the Tiger with a 260 cubic inch Ford V8 engine, accompanied by two Aplines without engines. We know, it’s a sin to sacrifice them but for some to live, others must perish. Find them for sale at $22,000 here in Monterey, CA.
