For the lovers of the E10 series produced by BMW in the 70s, this is a very special car, although not as rare as a 2002 Turbo.
Let’s face it frankly: the Touring version of the BMW E10 series is not the most beautiful car produced during the 70s, at least from the point of view of the classic aesthetic standards (for a car), however its peculiarity is precisely its strange profile which gives it a lot of personality.
The Touring version was much less sold than its three-volume sister, and if we add that only one in ten sold was the “Tii” version, characterized by fuel injection with 130 horsepower, it is easy to understand that the car in question is rare. The seller says there are some jobs to do both for the engine and the bodywork, but these are not heavy things. It also has many NOS parts, the only thing to understand is why the car is currently painted with the “Inka” shade but the sticker inside the engine bay shows “Atlantik”, which is a tone of dark blue. Find it for sale at €20,000 (today $22,000) here in Milano, Italy.
