Ok we know that this is the third Porsche published this week but unfortunately we are not the ones to decide when the most interesting cars come out on the market.
For this reason, we feel professionally obliged to inform you of this 1952 Porsche 356 (which seems actually a m.y. 53 because of the front signals position) which was not born in the color with which you see it now (if you can see what color it is); the seller says that the car was born with the color Dolphin Gray with blue interiors: a very elegant color combination, typical of the 50s.
As it is easy to suppose, the car needs extensive work on the body; surely the floors have to be replaced and there will be need of several patches on the body. In addition, the downside is that the engine is not the original equipment but comes from a later 356 A, on the other hand the car is very complete since it is said that only one handle, the emblem and “small lighting parts” are missing. Find it for sale here in Islip, NY, with bidding at $ 35,000 and reserve not met.
