Here it is another Simca from the golden period of these cars: it’s a rare Simca 9 Coupé which has been partially restored.
The job has been done on the body only even though the seller says that it has to be put together again: actually the car looks complete but all the interior parts, the chrome, the engine and the gearbox need to be rebuilt: the photo provided show a lot of parts but none of them looks restored.
So a consistent financial effort is still needed for this car but, as long as the metal work is often a substantial part of the restoration effort, this car could be a pleasant job once verified that the metal work has been properly done. Of course the new owner must pay much attention on the interiors parts: if missing those are very rare to find and could compromise the good ending of the restoration. Find it for sale at €29,500 (today $31,000) here in Almelo, Netherlands.
AFAIK (at least on the Simca 8 sport) the only chromed part is the steering wheel center and spokes. All the rest is alu and stainless steel.
