We often see these cars on auction but it’s becoming rarer and rarer to see a proper survivor like this one which, by the way, comes with two engines.

Indeed the seller says that actually this car is pushed by a type 121 engine which comes from a Giulia SS: a quite rare and valuable engine, also adopted for the Giulia Spider Veloce. Other than that, the seller has also the original engine, type 120, which should be mated again with the car in case of restoration.

Of course the car has rust even though it doesn’t seem a big issue: it is almost impossible to find one of these without the “right” amount of rust: it is obvious on a nealy 60 years old car. On the other side, the car looks perfectly original. interiors are dirty but correct as long as the body which still has the perspex bug shield behind the hood, often missing on the SS once they’ve been restored.that’s absolutely a great car to restore as long as the reserve price is set fairly. Find it for sale here in Laveen, AZ, with bidding at $36,100 and reserve not met.
