This relic from the great sixties has arrived to us, brought by his last owner since 1977.

It’s a 1960 T5 Roadster with a S75 engine: the seller says that the engine is not inside the car and he has no Porsche Kardex but when he bought the car he was told that the engine was original. The chassis number (88765), made of five digits like the 356 Speedster chassis number pattern, seems correct for a T5 Roadster built in 1960.

Also the engine number (87960) seems correct for an S75 engine produced in 1960. Basically, this car is a very nice starting point for a full restoration: the seller says that he made some work in the past like replacing the floors and then spray them with a white epoxy primer. There’s not front bumper but the car comes with other two engines (which need to be rebuilt), so basically all adds up. Find it for sale here in Washington, D.C, with a Buy It Now price of $92,000.
