The most clear feature of an early 911 also known as “Zero Series” is the veneer on the dashboard: this car belongs to that breed.

The ebay auctioneer is in the UK but clearly this is an US car and we also have understood where the car has been photographed. Apart from these useless details, what we see is a car which is of course in need of a total restoration but probably it is better than it looks. Moreover, the seller says that this is on of only eleven 1965 cars painted in silver.

This car has also a matching number engine and quite honest interiors as the seats and headrests are still in place along with the wooden original dashboard complete with its superb black and green clocks. The bidding on this car is very active but we wonder how high the reserve price has been set. Find it for sale here in Paramount, CA, with bidding at £55,000 (today $85,000).
