Red is even faster: 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce

ScreenShot001

We don’t see very often a Giulia GT with a California black plate but here it is: not only it is red but it is also a Veloce model.

The Veloce has few horsepower more than its “normal” sister and it was characterized by the three bars front grill, a different steering wheel and different seats. It also had a veneer dashboard instead of the grey plastic. This car has the 1750 GT first series interiors which, although beautiful, are not correct. The steering wheel too is not worthy of this car and should be replaced a.s.a.p.

This nice specimen is completed by a set of modern GTA replica rims (we suppose 7” wide) and by an odd external fuel filler, probably added by someone many years ago when, maybe, this car was raced. However, this is basically a beautiful car: there are not photos of the undercarriage but on the other side the engine bay is very clean and detailed: this seems the typical car which needs only to be driven. Find it for sale at $45,000 here in Santa Cruz, CA.
