Once upon a time: 1956 Alfa Romeo 1900 C Super Sprint by Touring

Once upon a time there was a superb and elegant coupè called 1900 C Super Sprint, usually driven by jet-set people who liked the ialian style. Now it’s sad and rotten, but for sure it will find a saviour.

This is the last series (3rd) of the 1900 family, which has the best look and a sleek profile. We are surprised that even now it can be possible to find such car abandoned in a backyard, but nevertheless here it is.

Unfortunately the original engine has been replaced in the past with what seems a six-inline unit: however we can’t recognize what engine is. One thing is sure: its saviour will have pockets full of money as a restoration of this kind is not a joke: you’ll need $10,000 for a set of Borrani alone (not including tires). That’s not just about money but also about the knowledge to perform such job. Find it for sale at $49,500 here in New York, NY.

  1. I am the idiot…err…savior who bought it. Engine currently installed was Mercedes. I have since acquired a correct 1308 engine for it.
