Yellow rarity: 1967 Ghia 450SS

The Ghia 450SS was the brainchild of Giorgetto Giugiaro, one of the most influential car designers of the 20th century. Commissioned by Hollywood producer Burt Sugarman, the car was unveiled in 1966 as a limited-production luxury roadster. With only 52 units ever made, the 450SS is a rare sight.

The seller says that this particular Ghia 450SS was featured at the 1966 Turin Auto Show, showcasing Italian automotive design and engineering of that era. The Ghia 450SS is powered by a Chrysler 273 cubic inch V8 engine, delivering approximately 235 horsepower. It features a TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The body was handcrafted by Italian coachbuilder Ghia, reflecting the design aesthetics of the era. The interior includes leather upholstery and wooden accents.

The car looks good, is quite cheap to service thanks to its Chrysler engine and transmission, is yellow and has a beautiful overall look. Now, what we don’t know is about the correctness of any detail: we are not experts of this model (we guess that very few in the world are), but we guess that the seller could give you all the info needed as well. Find it for sale at $160,000 here in Manhattan Beach, CA.
