Rare find: 1963 Fiat 600 “Sabrina” by Fissore

This car is very rare, and we can imagine the surprise of the current owner when he found it abandoned in the corner of a warehouse in Italy.

It’s one of the very few “Sabrina” models, built on a Fiat 600 Multipla base by Carrozzeria Fissore, one of the great Turin coachbuilders of the 1950s and 60s. It’s almost a miracle that this car has reached us, and for this miracle, we must thank anyone who, out of affection, aesthetic appreciation, or simply indifference, allowed this car to survive for sixty years.

It’s a clearly used and abandoned car without ever having been “touched” for a long time: the current appearance is that of a car whose body has been completely stripped of paint and left in bare metal to showcase the solidity of the structure, while the interior remains the original, albeit in poor condition and in need of a complete restoration. Otherwise, it’s an excellent foundation for restoring one of the extremely rare Sabrina models (less than 10, for sure) still in existence. Find it for sale at £21,337 (today $27,000) here in Cuneo, Italy. Thanks to Kyle for this tip!
