The problem with a fully restored classic car, especially if with very high standards, is the fear of driving it to avoid ruining it: with this 1955 Speedster this problem does not exist.
In fact, although apparently seeming (or at least in photos) a very nice car, actually this car would need several repairs that, the seller says, mainly concern the floors and the battery box. Actually the seller says that such repairs are not urgent: the car is drivable as it is, without any intervention among those mentioned above.
The price of this car is mainly related to the lack of the original engine and transmission: those installed now are Porsche, of course, but the first belongs to a model 1958 while the transmission is a later type 741. There are no photos of the interior, but from the published photos they look red. Find it for sale at $ 239,500 here in Boulder, CO.
