This rare Alfa Romeo 1900 C built by Zagato is said to have been parked for years in a collector’s garage which, other than this car, accomodates also other important cars like a Cisitalia Aerodinamica built designed by Savonuzzi.

I remember well when I found one of these, a green one in good conditions, ten years ago for sale at $100,000 and I perfectly recall that I thought that was a very good price given the rarity of that car. I was right but unfortunately there was a little detail which I missed: money.

Long story short as the car speaks for itself: the past owner, an italian collector, passed away and now the grandson, who is clearly more interested in cash than in classic motoring, is selling this jewel here at €800,000 (today $952,000).
