Happy ending for this Giulietta Spider. The actual owner from New Zealand, Alan, has sent us some photos of the car undergone a total restoration, almost finished. Photos speak for themselves: the car is now nothing less than spectacular. Thank you Alan for this update!

The seller of this Giulietta 750D says that this is a remarkable barn find as this car is a true time capsule. That’s a barn find for sure, but time has been hard on this car.

However, if we had to choose between a car like this and another one in illusory better conditions but badly restored, we’d prefer for sure the first option. Indeed the car lacks some parts like the front shield but basically looks complete, even if the passenger seat shouldn’t have the seat rails. The body, with the exception of a dent on the front, looks good: the doors have perfect gaps but, of course, the floors need to be replaced.

Apart from that, the engine bay doesn’t show anything different by the original set-up: the engine too should be the original equipment. So, this car wouldn’t shine again without investing a load of bucks on it but, at the end of the day, it’s still an swb Giulietta Spider! Find it for sale at $28,000 here in Toledo, OH.
