Dry white: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Sportsroof

According to the seller, this 1969 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback is 99% rust-free, retaining its original Ford OEM sheet metal with no aftermarket panels or body filler detected.

Originally sold at Palm Springs Ford in January 1970, the car was dealer-traded to meet the original owners’ request for a 1969 model with an M-code 351 Windsor 4-barrel engine, FMX automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, power steering, and power disc brakes. The owners declined the optional spoilers. The seller states that the car was originally finished in Acapulco Blue before being repainted white in 1982. The seller states that the car was regularly driven until 1982, when a family member took it without permission and repainted it.

After its recovery, it was used sparingly before being parked in early 1983. It remained in a garage in Palm Springs, later moved to Agoura Hills, California, and was last registered in 1993. The odometer shows 82,735 miles, which the seller claims is original and has never rolled over. The engine and transmission have never been removed, and the car retains its original exhaust system with a transverse muffler and rolled-tip dual exhausts. The seller reports that after a careful inspection and basic servicing, the engine was started and ran without smoke or unusual noises. The car moves forward and in reverse, but the brakes require a rebuild before further operation. The power steering, gauges, and original AM radio function properly. To verify its condition, the seller has provided videos showing the car and the engine running. Find it for sale at $27,900 here in Palm Springs, CA.
