The odd one: 1962 Fiat-Giannini 600 by Scioneri

Take an Italian Gran Turismo coupe from the 1960s, reduce its dimensions by 25%, and you’ll get this car.

There aren’t many of them around, both due to limited production and the fact that even fewer have made their way to us. In fact, we may have seen another one for sale only in the last 10 years. It’s a truly distinctive and well-designed coupe. If you didn’t know what car it was and it was photographed from ten meters away without other cars around for comparison, you would never guess that this car is just over three meters long.

The likely designer is Michelotti, while the bodywork is by another great figure from Piedmont, Antonio Scioneri, also part of Italy’s automotive history from the last century. The car seems to be reasonably well-preserved, although the body is visibly “tired,” as are the interiors. The white-blue color combination is a very elegant classic, but the car deserves a restoration to bring it back to 100% of its appearance. A very positive aspect is that the car still has its original black license plate. Find it for sale here in Quarrata, Italy, with bidding at €4,400 (today $5,000) and no reserve price. Thanks to Federico for this tip!
