This Giulia SS was born red: the white paint job has been made by the woman who owned it in order to give the car the “TZ” look, indeed the tail edge is painted in black.

The car doesn’t move since 1972 because it lost its clutch during the race, and was moved to the owner’s vacation home in the Scottsdale, AZ area, but was never run again, the seller says. The replacement clutch is still in the box, inside the car. On the other side the engine turns freely.

The carburetors assembly still has the yellow-wrapping plastic on the fuel line: it’s a very original detail so we believe that really those carburetors haven’t been touched during the last 45 years. Basically this car needs a major service and few more touches but it has that “patina” which is s much loved nowadays. Find it for sale at $106,000 here in Sherman Oaks, CA.

This car has been listed in the SS register (381354). The car moved from Arizona to southern California. It is a lot cleaner.. It was sold at a Bonhams auction in 2014.

Here’s the Bonhams listing. It says sold without reserve but doesn’t list price. https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/21917/lot/300/
