You don’t often see many examples of this rare coupé, the result of a collaboration between the British Sunbeam and the Italian Touring, yet this specimen is the most stunning one we’ve encountered so far.
According to the Touring Superleggera registry, only 41 examples of the Sunbeam Venezia (which was already produced in extremely limited numbers due to its high original cost) are known to have survived. This makes it such a rare car that it’s unlikely you’ll ever see one in your lifetime. What makes this particular example even more special is the seller’s claim that it is completely original.
By original, we mean that it has never been restored—not even partially. The car has had a single owner, who lived in Rome, and it still retains its original black license plates and original registration booklet. Its color is an elegant light blue paired with blue interior trim, which appears to be factory-original, untouched, and in remarkable condition. The engine bay also looks very correct and authentic. One might suspect the paint is a bit too shiny for a car that’s 60 years old, but if it has been carefully preserved, that could indeed be possible. Find it for sale at €39,000 (today $41,000) here in Torino, Italy.

A brief check on the relevant website sunbeamvenezia.com (https://www.sunbeamvenezia.com/en/REGISTER-3190038-3190084/3190045-15048/) would have revealed that the car was repainted in a non-original blue colour. This was done in 2005. The interior colour is original, and no technical restorations were undertaken at the time.
