Here we are again, with yet another variation of the FIAT 1100, tailored to the tastes of its wealthy owner and shaped by the interpretation of the stylist in charge.
Of course, the stylist in question doesn’t work with fabric but with metal. In this case, we’re talking about Giacinto Ghia, the head of the eponymous atelier that most of you—at least those who follow Classic Virus—are surely familiar with. The starting point was a FIAT 1100B, also known as the “Musone” (Big Muzzle). At the time this car was built, six years still remained before the introduction of the more modern 1100-103.
As often happens, this dealer is stingy with details, but a few things can still be deduced: this is likely a car that is largely preserved in its original condition. It seems to have undergone some touch-ups over the decades, but nothing invasive. It probably still retains its original color scheme—an elegant cream exterior with green interior. The car features many distinctive details, showcasing how nothing on this vehicle has been lost over the years. While it could benefit from a slight refresh, even as it stands, this unique car exudes immense charm. Find it for sale here in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
