If you think you’ve already seen this car, you’re right: you probably saw it on Classic Virus earlier this year, but we felt it was necessary to republish it as there are now more photos and more information.
First of all, it should be mentioned that this car belonged to a single family of noble Sicilian origin in the province of Catania, who kept it from 1950 to 2018. This explains the extraordinary conditions of originality (except for an external repaint about twenty years ago) and the original black license plates. Furthermore, it seems that this car was the winner of its class at the 1950 Venice International Concours d’Elegance: the photo we have posted should be of the car presented there, but we have no certainty about it.
There is no need to comment on the interior finishes of this car, worthy of much higher-class vehicles, and the engine compartment is still clearly in original condition. Last but not least is the price, which, compared to the initial publication, has significantly decreased, making it not quite inexpensive but certainly more balanced for the type and condition of the car. Find it for sale at 139,000 (today $149,000) here in Brescia, Italy. Thanks to Fluc for this tip!
