Old slate: 1963 Porsche 356B T6 S Cabriolet

We were talking, a few posts ago, about the search for originality in collecting, and here we have a Cabriolet popping up in a non-exceptional condition, but certainly original.

Speaking of the condition, we notice that the car doesn’t appear to have been restored in appearance. In fact, it seems completely original in every part, especially in the interior which, unfortunately, needs to be redone. It’s worth noting that it’s not specified whether the engine is the original one, but on the bright side, it’s functional: the seller has also posted a video in which the engine can be heard running, although the noise is not reassuring.

Of course, the most important check to perform is on the undercarriage: that’s where issues could be hidden, and the absence of rust (or at least limited rust presence) would make a significant difference for a car that might potentially only need a mechanical and interior refresh, and could then be used as it is. Find it for sale at €94,950 (today $111,500) here in Brodnica, Poland.
