From darkness/3: 1947 Cisitalia 202 Cabriolet by Vignale

Here is another car that emerges from the darkness and we assume, given the details of some photos, that it comes from South America.

Obviously we are not sure but certainly, in relation to this car, there is very little, as in the announcement there are no details relating to the origin, the chassis number or the missing parts (which do not seem to be few). however the seller has reported some interesting construction details.

In fact, he says that this car has a split windshield gear lever on the steering wheel and says that this is one of the first three Cisitalia 202 Cabriolets built, out of a total of 160 cars produced (between cabriolets and coupés). For the rest, the car features the Cisitalia engine with double carburettor, 15-inch Borrani wire wheels: there’s a lot to do, but it’s worth it, as long as the price convinces you. Find it for sale at €250,000 (today $267,000) here in Parma, Italy.
