Lately, as most classic cars enthusiast know well, aircooled Porsche prices, especially of the pre-bumper series (1964-73) are out of control and the earlier the car, the more expensive it is.

What we have here is a zero-series 911 from 1965 which seems in quite good conditions and is painted in its original Aga Blue with black interiors. The typical area of these early 911 is of course the dashboard enrichened with veneer and with a set of clocks which have the same pattern and colors of the 356, which is beautiful.

Underside the car looks solid too, the seller has published a lot of photos and there’s nothing particularly worrying about the metal; the car still wears its original “steelies” rims but unfortunately has a no matching engine; however the seller says that at least it’s period correct. What about the price? Its’ high, of course, but we’ve seen worse, much worse than this for less attractive cars. Find it for sale at $135,000 here in Los Angeles, CA.
