A 1962 Jaguar E-Type Roadster, modified to resemble Jaguar’s rare E2A lightweight race car, is now searching for the next owner.
This car was rediscovered after 37 years in storage, where it had remained since its previous owner began transforming it into an E2A-inspired racer. Unfortunately, the project was never completed, leaving the car as a restoration candidate with significant potential.
The Roadster is currently in running condition after being revived by Jaguar specialists. However, it requires additional work, including a full service and tire replacement, to make it roadworthy. Buyers have two options: complete the tribute to the iconic E2A racer or restore the car to its original XKE roadster configuration. Find it for sale at $90,000 here in Oceanside, CA.
